I can't take credit for this idea and I can't even give credit, as I honestly cannot remember where I saw this on the internet!
I made these for the "Home of Love" (Ikhaya Lo Thando) preschool. Tanzi had the first go ............
It's a wonderful hands-on activity that helps with fine motor skills. The preschoolers are learning about shapes so I banged nails into wood in the shape of a circle, square and triangle. I bought a large packet of elastics(various thicknesses and lengths.) and VOILA !
