For a couple of nights we stayed at the beautiful Montecasino Pallazo Hotel. I felt like a queen!
We took a couple of their friends out for the day.
MrGee and I visited Mandela Square in Sandton City ....... I had to have a pic with our dearly loved Ex-President Nelson Mandela.
And then we went to one of my favourite restaurants ...........
But most of all we just had fun catching up with old friends and reminiscing about our old stomping ground . We drove past most of the houses we had lived in. We only managed to see 5 out of the 7. Yip ..... we stayed in 7 different houses during the 9 years we spent in Jozi !!!!

Oh my goodness...7 homes in 9 years?? What on earth am I complaining for...this will be our first move in 14 years!!! ha ha Maybe because we've accumulated so much 'stuff' and it's harder to move in bulk. Any advice from a professional mover to this novice one? We still have yet to sell (well, we did, but it fell through last minute - long story)...but we are hopeful.

The hotel looked beautiful..I bet you DID feel like a queen :) I bet the Thai food was great too! Wow..you've moved around a lot..You must be very organized! I'm glad you had such a good time visiting Jozi..Loved the pictures! Have a wonderful weekend!!
