A family member recently said........ " You make out on your blog that your life is so peachy and that every thing is perfect between you and MrGee!"
Well, I suppose I have always wanted my blog to be a positive and upbeat journal of the wonderful memories we have created....stuff that we can laugh about and look back on with happy hearts! But in reality ....... hard times do happen ....... and at the moment, MrGee and I are battling in our relationship. I do not want to go into any details, but what I will say is that neither of us have been unfaithful.
With that said........... I drove up to my parents place last Sunday(the day after my 40th family bash) with a VERY heavy heart. I packed Miss Tanzi in the car and drove the 50 minutes to Howick at 9 o clock in the evening! MrGee and I were fighting dirty/mud slinging so I decided to remove myself from the battle zone before anything else happened that we would really regret!
On the second day of being away I was sent this email from my Mozambican gardener ......"Hi fee its me paul.we miss u here at home.have good one we see u soon thanks.god bless u."
I only received this message when I returned home 3 days later ......... it made me cry like a baby ..... someone cared...... isn't that so dear of him?
Please pray .......

Oh Fifi. Satan is working hard on marriages. None of us are exempt from his attacks. I am praying right now for you and Mr. G. You guys no doubt have been under much stress with so many different variables coming into play.
I'll keep you on my prayer list dear one.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I will keep you in my prayers.
Relationships are hard, and sometimes it takes lots of work. I think it's sweet that the gardener sent you that email. I'm glad that something gave you that little bit of encouragement that we all need.
About the blog, we all put our best face on when blogging, and believe me, we all have problems going on in our homes and in our lives. Blogging is therapeutic for a lot of people and it's a way to reach out and vent about the not so nice things in our lives that creep up on us all the time.
I hope things work out.
You will be in my thoughts and in my prayers.
All the best to you,
Eileen
Fifi, please know that you are in my prayers!! I was so sorry to read this on your blog today. No marriage is perfect...we all need to work hard at keeping that spark alive. I will be praying for you. Keep Christ in the center of all you do and totally trust in Him to guide you in this relationship. You are loved very much and I'm sure I can speak for the rest of the blog community when I say that you are an encouragement and an inspiration to many of us!!
Big hugs!!

So sorry about the trouble, I think that there are few things as deeply troubling as marriage stuff. I'm cheering on for your marriage. Go Fifi and MrGee!!! You can make it and make it dramatically! You have it in you, I'm sure of it. I hope this hard time goes swiftly by. Prayers.
Hi Fifi...I'm so sorry to hear this..Believe me...we all have stress going on in the background..me included.
What a sweet thing for the gardener to send you an e-mail saying you were missed...and I'm sure you were. Life is throwing lots of stress everyone's way lately...
Please know that I'm keeping you in my prayers and Mr. G too...
You are a sweet and good friend Fifi...sorry I didn't see this sooner...but I'm still under the weather and haven't been on much at all.
Big hugs.....Love you....Jerelene
oh man...marriage is tough! Will be praying for you both.
Praying like crazy, girlfriend. Thanks for your honesty.... I know it is often SO HARD to let others see when something difficult is going on in our lives. Just think of how many are praying for you guys now!!
When things got rough for us, I (re)picked up the book "The Power of a Praying Wife"... and wouldn't you know..... I saw a difference right away! No, things were not immediately perfect, but things in my heart changed and God was able to move in my hubby as well... In part because of the change in me... and completely because I turned it all over to Him rather than stewing and stressing and trying to deal with it on my own. I definitely recommend it!!!
Chin up, God's got it. :) xoxo
