This year we are studying American History. Being non-Americans, we are finding it all so new and exciting! The other day in history class, we learnt the song "America". WizKid showed off his patriotism by jumping on the table and posing as The Statue of Liberty!........ I couldn't resist asking him to hold the pose while I grabbed the camera.
He made me promise to mention that he is not in the habit of wearing girlie pink crowns!!!

That's great that you guys are getting so into American History. Anytime you can have your children excited about the learning process, you know you are on the right track! Great pic, and my boys would have had that crown on too, if we happened to have one laying around (no girls/no crown...lol).
I LOVE THAT STATUE!! What a good boy!
Blessings, Beckie :o)
TOO Funny, and cute!
Too funny! Tell him we won't hold the pink crown against him. =) So, I read that you were born in South Africa? Is that where your kids were born too? Very interesting! I don't think I ever noticed that before.
Wow--fun site.
My brother has just joined the peace corps and is now in Malawi.
I know nothing about Africa...but I am even more interested to learn now! I'll be back! 8)

Hi Anna
My kids were all born in South Africa. My parents too. Hubby and his parents were all born in Zimbabwe. S.Africa's a beautiful country....we do struggle with alot of crime and the Aids problem is huge! Both my mom and I have had domestic workers that have died from Aids. It's very sad!
That's really getting into learning! Very creative...love it.

What a great picture. You can tell him he doesn't look like he would normally run around in that crown. *smile*
