This year we are attempting to learn the recorder. I can't say I have an incredible love for this instrument and it's sound, but I thought it would be a good for my boys to be exposed to an instrument other than the piano or keyboard.
I had to rat on them initially to practice, but now they are quite diligent about it! Even TanziPanzi joins in ..... much to their disapproval!

What a cute picture- Tanzi is looking so intently at the book! It must be quite the sound to have all three at once, but it is a great thing to play more than one instrument. This is coming from someone who doesn't really play any.

HI Fifi.. I'm so behind on my reading of blogs, I'm sorry. The kids are out of school for the summer now and I'm spending all my time being mom and having fun with them. I loved your Fathers day post. and this one is great.. Love the photo of the kids with there recorders.. Princess learned to play it this past school year(in the 5th grade) in her music class.. I tell ya my girl has some talent.. she not only could play it the normal way but could hold it up to her nose and play Mary had a little lamb though her nose.. LOL.. I kid you not my sweet 11 year old girl came home to show me this LOL LOL LOL..
I learnt this in school! The 2 elder boys are playing it and even little LP wants to join in. I just think Tanzi looks so cute in that shot!

Don't they look precious! It's so nice for them to learn musical instruments in amongst all the academics.
How Fun! Emily has been wanting to get one but I just have not picked one up yet.
