Time flies!

How did we go from this.......................................
(take note of the shoes!)

to this...................

.............so quickly?

My eldest, WizzKid, is turning 12 tomorrow (25th). He is a wonderful son whom I love dearly. He is extremely thoughtful and kind. He always asks me..." How are you doing Mom?" He is a great encourager too. I often hear him talking to his younger brother and motivating him. The other day I overheard him say, "CoolDude, you told Mom that you want to be a tennis champ, well if that's what you want, we'd better go and practise!"

He loves........
  • swimming league
  • computors and anything to do with technology
  • music, especially Hillsongs Kids and M.I.C. (a local christian band)
  • his cat Dash
  • Chocolate and red grape juice
  • reading...... especially books by Eion colfer, Brian Jacques and Charlie Higson
  • Making funny(silly!) movies with his Camcorder. (I'll post one soon)

To the left............... we have the shoe that features in the top right pic and his latest size 5!

To the right...... the computor cake I made today.

Love Fifi

Awwww Happy Birthday to your Son. He is so handsome.
Time does fly by at an alarming rate, doesn't it?

The cake is just so awesome and I can only imagine how much time went into it. I wouldn't have been able to cut into it.

Hugs,

AW, HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!
I LOOOOOVVVVE THE CAKE!! You must post how you did it, please. What a great job. Your comments about your birthday boy are preecious. We just had our tenth anniversary and we were showing our boys the video from Durban and the birthday boy was in nappies running around Ryan's door in Pinetown, remember? You and hubby said "let's show Katrina how African babies dance!" It was soooo cute.
HAPPY B-DAY WHIZKID

Hi Katrina...........
Yip I remember you guys shooting that video! I was wondering whether you had a blog, and if not why not!?!?!
I loved the pics you emailed me.... Jeremy looks more like you! I also went and visited Liberty Church website, and listened to Ryan preaching! He is doing so well and sounds SO american now! It looks like you and Ryan are quite involved in this church. All the best and lots of love to you and the family!

Hmmmm...I guess I ought to get a blog going, Ryan had that page on his site soon after the babe was born, but he's changed it. I use facebook now as Ryan's sis asked me to. But, it is boring. I guess I ought to do something hey!
So you listened to Ryan...yes, God has really transformed that man. He truly is a new creation. Quite amazing.
I miss you but it's nice to get updated on your life regularly. Your blog is very interesting and your friends on here are so nice and I've just started checking out their blogs as well. Very keen on starting mine if I can!
