What's a happening.........

As you may or may not know, we have stopped homeschooling for now, and have put the kids into wonderful Christian schools. They are all very happy!

Wizzkid just missed being the Victor Ladorum(for swimming)by one point. But he was thrilled to come first in the 200m Freestyle. He got a trophy.......his first ever!

CoolDude is thoroughly enjoying the social side of school, although he has had a few bullying incidences. On the way out to break a boy deliberately tripped him, so CoolDude turned round and punched the boy in the stomach. (I was like "Good on ya son!") They both got called into the headmaster's office and given a stern talking to!

I am missing teaching and learning with them! I just miss my kids so much!
The mornings are mine, but I run ragged in the afternoons till 18:30...... my oh my!!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe he got bullied, hopefully that punch will have put a stop to it.
It is still a busy life having kids in school, isn't it? I know I am!

I've been enjoying re-connecting with old friends..... I've done many coffee mornings!I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon!
I'm baking alot and doing some sewing for TanziPanzi's school.

Well done Whizzkid!

I am so glad for you that they are settled and happy. I know exactly how you feel about missing them - I had withdrawal when my 2 went back to school & I was ecstatic when Rox decided to do her last 2 years of high school back at home ;-)

Enjoy your time alone! I am not sure what I would do if I had every day to myself. :-)

I have talked to my kids about turning other cheek, as the Bible says, but I would not be opposed to them defending themselves if it came down to it. Sometimes that seems to do the trick!
Thanks for the update on your family.

Great to hear that everyone is doing so well...thanks for the update. Glad Whizzkid defended himself. That should put a stop to the bullying.

Sounds like they are all doing well. I would have said.. good job also.. a punch to the gut will hopefully put an end to that.
