Dinner is served!

Lori from Glass Half Full asked us to share a pic of our dining room table. So here ours is! I feel we don't spend enough dinners around the table together. Hubby comes home at odd hours and I'm not particularly routined about dinner! Sometimes we eat at 6 and sometimes at 7:30pm! What we DO have, is wonderful Sunday roasts after Church at this table. I'm sure this family tradition is being etched upon our kids hearts!
Thanks Lori for initiating this post!
.
Love Fifi

I would love a ROUND table like that. Everyone facing each other -- too cool!!!

Thanks for participating.

PS During the school year our dinner times are screwy too!

I like the chairs you have, they are very pretty. I'd like a round table but I have settled for oval.

I would love a round table like that too-seems more intimate.

I have similar (smaller) rug like yours - how funny!

Fifi your dinning room is gorgeous. My dinner time is all over the place also. Lastnight Princess spent the night at a friends house, Mr Man and Sweet Pea were over Grandma's and Little Man, DH and myself was at Princesses ball game which started at 5:50pm and got over around 8pm then we had an hour drive home. So we didn't sit down for dinner until 9:30pm we moved Little Man's high chair into the livingroom and DH and I sat on the couch and we ate and watched a movie together.. Little Man finished his food and we put him to bed and DH and I had time alone.. It was great.

What a lovely, sunny room. I don't think I will bother posting a picture of my dining room table cause it doesn't exist! :) I have a table which serves for dining, eating, crafting, school work, planning, sorting and anything else you need that will accomodate a large, flat, surface. Loved all your pics of your kids and the weekend away, sounds wonderful.
