They just don't get it!

Yesterday afternoon I was with a couple of ladies..... saying my goodbyes. At sometime I mentioned that they can keep up to date with our news if they visit my blog.

"What's a blog?" asked the one lady.

"Well, it's my virtual diary." I replied

"You mean you let everyone read about what's going on in your life?!"

"I don't write about very intimate stuff, it's more about daily events, funny moments, homeschooling."

"Do they enjoy reading about that?"

"I think so.What's wonderful is that I'm able to connect with moms all over the world."

"Why would you want to make friends with people you're never gonna meet?"

I quickly changed the conversation. Being on trial for having a blog was starting to annoy me slightly!

Why do you blog?

You Are a Life Blogger!

Your blog is the story of your life - a living diary.
If it happens, you blog it. And make it as entertaining as possible.

I'm a life blogger too! And hey- who are those ladies to say you will never meet your blog friends? I've met one blog friend so far and have plans to meet another just after Christmas.

They're just jealous that they don't have friends all over the world like you do! hee hee Some people I know also wonder why I blog...but in all honesty, it's like therapy, plus you get a great journal of your daily life to print out if you want it. There's not way I'd go back to journaling in a little notebook, not after being able to receive comments, add photos and more! Blogging is just way too much fun!!!! Good for you for changing the subject, I'd have told them not to get their nylons in a bunch and to stop trying to put you down...maybe they have things in their life they want to hide...hmm...interesting. = ) I'm just kidding, then again...

Hugs and happy moving. Keep me posted on how life in Natal is! If you ever get to Port Shepstone, snap a few photos for me and tell me what life is like there these days.

Oh I love that you have a blog. Also we probally will never meet, but I love being from Alabama and having a gal pal in Africa. Although we will be together in heaven for an eternity, so I will see you then. Best wishes with your move.
