As promised.............

........pics of our new house.
This is our driveway leading up to the main entrance and a shot of the garden on the entrance side. As soon as the house has been cleared of all it's boxes, I will welcome you inside.

The benefit of living in a complex/cluster development, is that you feel much safer. Notice I say feel, as this type of living can also create a false sense of security. We are going to put in an alarm(with armed response) and security gates on all the outside doors. That's what you need to do in this country!

I am very happy to be 'home'. So is Tanzi (it seems!)...... here she is showing us one of her karate moves!

Beautiful house, I love it. I don't know how you deal with the lack of safety, wow. I had to laugh at your last post about Tanzi and the "wee", we have had so many experiences with "the urge" on road trips, you gotta laugh.

It's lovely Fee, I can't wait to see inside! I'm actually surprised the alarm system isn;t in place already.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the house, I love the yard and that fountain is just beautiful. I know what you mean about the alarm and security system. When I was in Port Shepstone we had bars on all the windows and alarms, and still people would break in. We had a banana farm and there was a house at the edge of the property that was broken into on a weekly basis. Fortunately no one was living there at the time. We were right on the edge of Kwa Zulu, and there wasn't much around (no neighborhoods) so it was probably a lot worse than where you're at - at least back then.

May God bless you in your new home, keep you safe and give you many wonderful happy memories in that house!!!

Hugs,
Elinor

FEE!!!! It is GORGEOUS!!!! I can't imagine living with the safety issues, though!! Where we are the keys are left in the cars and the doors are left unlocked.... most of the time. :) Amazing what you get used to.... I grew up in town where things were locked and keys not left in vehicles and street lights everywhere.... Now the only "street light" we have is the one on the barn. Don't worry about my safety, though, dear friend.... We have plenty of vicious dogs to protect us and ours. :) Loking forward to the inside tour!!!!!

It's a lovely home; but I would rather live in a modest home with a sense of security than a mansion with bars and alarms...maybe that's just me?
