Look at this stunning tree........
Some older folk in our complex are wanting to cut this beaut of a tree down because....... wait for it......... it is causing cracks in the tar road!!!
For goodness sake....... I don't even notice the cracks in the road because I'm looking upwards at the magnificant tree! Trim the roots...... do whatever you need to do.
As my dad so eloquently would say "Are their brains in their bum?"................ perhaps!?

That is a fab tree- I agree. Yes, sometimes people can tend to get a bit persnickety sometimes about these kind of things.
Think the have been sitting on the brains too long they are being deprived of a bit of good old oxygen, kindly supplied by the tree. Tar can be fixed, the tree could never be replaced. Silly ol' bats!

You are right that tree is delightful. How terrible that folks want to cut it down. Maybe you are right, their brains in in their behinds...... *snicker, snicker* I wonder if they could possbily get to the roots and take care of it that way. Maybe a letter is in order...tell them how you feel!
Is it THEIR tree -- so they can cut it down? :sigh: I'm less mature then your other commentators... the tree cutters are dopes... too bad. That is a lovely tree.
